The meeting started with welcome note by Mr. Rudreswar Gogoi, Coordinator, IQAC followed by explaining the objective of the meeting.

The following points were discussed:

  1. Submission of SSR along with DVV and expected result
  2. A two days Seminar granted by MAKAIAS, Kolkota
  3. Preparation for NAAC Peer Team visit

The following decisions are taken:

  1. To solve the departmental works on time
  2. To upgrade all necessary infrastructures of the institution as soon as possible
  3. To organize MAKAIAS Seminar on 24th and 25th2021

Meeting Agenda: Formation of various committees and proposal for organizing Seminars and workshops, Proposal for doing to the society

A meeting of all the members of IQAC was convened on 24/4/2021 at 2pm in the Conference Hall.

The following points were discussed

  1. To prepare AQAR (Annual Quality Assurance Report) various committees are formed.
  2. To develop a system for conscious and consistent improvement.
  3. To assure all the stakeholders about the quality education provided by the institution.

The following strategies of IQAC were taken –

  1. Timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks
  2. Assuring Quality Education
  3. Organizing of workshops, seminar and competitions among students and teachers.

MINUTES OF IQAC

Today on 8th, August 2016 an annual meeting of IQAC has been held at 11.A.M. in the conference hall. Dr Promod Borgohain, Principal of the college presides over the meeting. The purpose of the meeting has been stated by Sri Rudreswar Gogoi, Coordinator, IQAC.

The principal asks Sri Rudreswar Gogoi, Coordinator IQAC, to explain the programmes worked out in the last session.

Sri Rudreswar Gogoi replies that he undertook some special programmes for NAAC invitation. He says that a workshop on NAAC invitation will be held on Next month. An application for NSS Unit formation has been sent to Dibrugarh University and the concerned authority of Dibrugarh University assured that they would take proper measure for it. Besides, a financial assistance Rs-150000/ (one lakh fifty thousands) has been already granted by ICSSR, New Delhi for organising a national level seminar on the title ‘ Folk culture of North East India: An Analytical Study’

The following decisions are taken :

1. Let it be resolved to form a committee for organising the national seminar smoothly.

2. Let it be resolved to send more proposal to UGC for national and international seminars or workshops.

3. Let it be decided to prepare SSR for NAAC invitation and necessary particulars.

In fine, the principal applauds Sri Rudreswar Gogoi for his modest attempt and suggests him to send more proposals for it. The meeting has been dissolved at 2.45. P.M.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) OF Borhat B.P.B.M. College was formed on 2nd June 2014. Since its inception, it has been a driving mechanism to enhance quality education and learning environment in the institution. IQAC of this college always strives to develop not only for the students but also for the college respectively.

MINUTES OF IQAC

Date: 29/8/2014

Today on 29th, August 2014 an annual meeting of IQAC has been held in the conference hall at 11.30.A.M.. Dr Promod Borgohain, Principal of the college has presided over the meeting. Sri Rudreswar Gogoi, Coordinator IQAC explains the purpose of the meeting.

At first. Dr. Promod Borgohain asks Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to say the activities done in the last session. Besides, He also declares that financial assistance of 3 Lakhs for IQAC formation along with furniture has been granted by UGC.

Sri Rudreswar Gogoi, then replies that he has taken some programmes which are belonged to extensions activities such as An Awareness Programme on Japanese Encephalitis, plantation drive etc. He has also taken initiative to form Alumni Cell. Accordingly, a meeting is arranged for organising Alumni Cell on 25th, August 2014. He also indicates the rules and regulations for NAAC invitation.

Dr Binita Gogoi, Vice- Principal, suggests Rudreswar Gogoi to send the proposals of National seminar to concerned institutions.

The following decisions are taken:

1. Let it be resolved to arrange a few extension activities.

2. Let it be resolved to send a few proposals for organising National seminars or workshops.

3. Let it be resolved to purchase the necessary equipment of IQAC.

At last, the chairperson calls upon Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to take proper steps to go forward and he assures Rudreswar Gogoi to assist financial aids to purchase some necessary equipment. The meeting has been ended at 3.45 P.M.

Date: 25/09/2015

Today, on 25th September 2015 an annual meeting of IQAC has been held at 11.30.a.m in the conference hall of the college.Dr. Promod Borgohain, Principal of the college presides over the meeting. The objective of the meeting has been stated by Sri Rudreswar Gogoi, coordinator, IQAC.

At first, Dr Promod Borgohain asks Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to explain the programmes executed in the last session.

Sri Rudreswar Gogoi then replies that he took a few programmes such as an awareness programme on female, observation of International Day of Drugs and Illicit Trafficking. He also says that all the departments are maintaining their activities regularly. Moreover, Alumni Cell/ Committee is formed on 13th September 2014 to carry out some programmes.

Mr Poran Kotoky, Asst. Prof, suggests Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to do some works related to NAAC.

The following decisions are taken:

  • Let it be resolved to do more extension activities.

  • Let it be resolved to prepare for NAAC invitation.

  • Let it be resolved to organize one day workshop on NAAC Preparation.

In fine, Dr Promod Borgohain advises Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to record all the events and programmes duly and to take necessary actions for NAAC invitation. The meeting has been ended at 2.3.P.M..

Today on 11th November 2017 an annual meeting of IQAC, Borhat B.P.B.M College is held at 11.A.M in the conference hall. Dr Promod Borhohain chairperson& principal of the college presides over the meeting. Sri Rudreswar Gogoi, coordinator IQAC explains the objective of the meeting.

Dr Binita Gogoi, first of all, commends Sri Rudreswar Gogoi for organising ICSSR National seminar smoothly and for publishing the proceeding volume of the seminar. She advises Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to send more proposals of seminar to UGC or ICSSR immediately.

Dr Promod Borgohain gives thanks to Rudreswar Gogoi for organising the seminar well. He also asks Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to explain other activities executed in the last session.

Sri Rudreswar Gogoi replies that he worked out some important activities in the last session such as a workshop on NAAC invitation, a newsletter publishing, initiative for flood relief camp at Kalakhuwa, Dibrugarh, Health awareness programme on Open Defecation Elimination, Plantation programme and Blood Donation camp at Borhat B.P.B.M College. Moreover, the NSS Unit is introduced first in the college and various programmes related to NSS were executed in the last session.

The following decisions are taken :

1. Let it be decided to send a few proposals for organising seminar or workshop.

2. Let it be resolved to invite NAAC early as possible and take initiative for it.

At last, the principal of the college suggests Sri Rudreswar Gogoi to keep all the records properly for NAAC. The meeting has been dissolved at 2.10.p.m.

Date: 29/10/2018

Today on 29th, October 2018 an urgent meeting of IQAC, Borhat B.P.B.M.College is held at 11.A.M in the conference hall. Dr Promod Borgohain, chairperson of the cell presides over the meeting. Sri Rudreswar Gogoi, coordinator IQAC explains the objective of the meeting.

Sri Rudreswar Gogoi briefly explains the process of NAAC invitation such as Letter of Intent, Registration fees and requirement of the necessary infrastructure of the college.

Mr Bongshidhar Lahon has given an important explanation for NAAC related topics. He suggests the authority to take proper steps for the same. Similarly, Mr Virendra Rawat, Manager of Bhuyankhat T.E. advises to prepare a checklist which are very compliant or non-compliant.

Dr Binita Gogoi, Vice-principal has emphasised on inviting NAAC and necessary measures for it. She delivers a speech on the importance of adopted village & women Cell etc. Mr Dinesh Kr. Gogoi also suggests the departments to prepare documents with proof of their actions taken in the last five years. She also says that separate Vice-principal room, Examination room, IQAC room, Boys common room are very necessary for NAAC process.

Mr Diganta Dutta, Anar Lakaria have given their opinions and assurance for assistance at any time.

The following proposals are taken:

1. IIQA will be sent very shortly.

2. A Mock Drill by an expert person will be arranged in the month of April 2019.

Lastly, Dr Promod Borgohain principal of the college opines that the authority will help in every part for NAAC invitation and will build examination room, IQAC room etc depending upon the availability of funds of the college. He also says that the authority will take proper plans to go forward within a very short time. At last, he has dissolved the meeting giving his thanks at 2.30.P.M.
